“Then we'll get a little art here and 8½ which is, you know, Fellini to me was—we used to take LSD and see the movies all the time and this one was especially good because of Saraghina and it reminded me very much of Edith Massey and Divine kind of put together and just the soundtrack to this movie we always used to listen to on acid so I always had flashbacks when I see this movie but Barbara Steele and it looks so amazing it's just such a great movie.”

“Oh I had The Honeymoon Killers because it's really good and it's based on a true story and Shirley Stoler and this is so amazing and I always loved her. I finally got to meet her and she was so mean to me because she said finally met a real man because all the reviews said that she was like Divine. I didn't really think she was but I liked her so much. She is really great in this movie it's based on a true crime it really did happen and I think she was a great actress.”

“First of all I would pick The Blob just because it's my favorite title song of any movie. Just the theme song of The Blob is pretty good. I think Steve McQueen is in this movie, and it's the first horror movie I saw as a kid and it's just a great movie. I'm happy, I'm glad that you all picked this to be in The Criterion Collection where it belongs.”

“I picked another one oh I know of course Beyond the Valley of the Dolls. I might even be in this but it's such a good present to give everybody it's this movie's like a fine wine it gets better and better as life goes on. I remember I saw it in the movie theater the day it opened and I thought you know it was so insane this movie and Roger Ebert who was never very kind to me and introduced it is the best thing he ever wrote really the screenplay it's much better than its film.”

“David Lynch I had found one of his here and this is Twin Peaks and because I'm, you know, the johnny-come-lately but I'm in the middle of watching the new Twin Peaks all 18 episodes which is even weirder and more insane and I just amazed how he ever got it past the studio. I'm a big fan of David Lynch and I love this one especially what maybe everybody else didn't like quite as much but to me it's really good but I haven't seen it a lot of time so it's one that I can watch twice.”
