And Sandra Hüller is just an incredible actress. Just doesn’t miss a moment. There’s an oblique 50 Cent reference, which you don’t really get in French cinema on a yearly basis.”

“Alice Diop’s Saint Omer, one of the great new, exciting filmmakers on this planet. Anytime she does anything, I’m excited for it. This is another underappreciated classic, which I guess is the theme here. So watch this movie. But also watch anything that Alice does because exciting voice period. She’s got a lot to say about the world and we all should listen.”

So I’m taking this, mainly so I can ask everybody on Earth to seriously consider figuring out a Paul Robeson biopic or, more likely, a limited series because his life is so incredible over so many different eras.
